The Sum of Our Gods

I just completed The Sum of Our Gods by @BenjaminGorman and it surprised me in the best way.  (I am also happy to report this is not a kissing book, either!)

I was exploring @notapipe publishing as a possible champion for #BENEVOLENCE when this book caught my attention. I, too, love to explore the worlds of fading gods and what happens when the number of followers drops off.

The Sum of Our Gods takes epic themes and makes them feel somewhat intimate. The writing flows so well—there’s a solid balance between philosophical depth and pure, enjoyable storytelling. The dialogue was fun and entertaining, never falling flat.

Many of the characters will be familiar, and they feel authentic, imperfect, and often a little comedic. This book kept me turning pages well past the usual hour.  I highly recommend a dive into @BenjaminGorman ‘s tale.
